Spring Fellowship Event

You Asked For It!

You asked for it! So we want to deliver.

One of the most common requests and comments sent to the guild is, there simply isn’t enough time for guild members to interact during our events. The conference and other events are usually so action packed there’s little opportunity for fellowship, to catch up with friends, make new friends, mingle a bit, network, exchange ideas and business cards—and just enjoy the company of fellow writers.

So, we are planning a spring event we hope will meet all those needs! We’ll break bread together over brunch, listen to author/humorist/blogger/speaker John Shore (http://johnshoreland.com)* talk to us about aspects of the writing life, and then break up for times of fellowship and an opportunity to join one or more discussion groups on topics such as: how to be involved in an online critique group, self-publishing and marketing, and drama. We’ll also introduce our critique groups and give you an opportunity to get to know the leaders and find a group that best suits your needs.

Although it may sound like we’re trying to accomplish a lot, well, we are because we want to make this worth your time. But our desire is to make this a casual, friendly event that will give you the chance to get to know your fellow writers and how you can be involved in our guild. We also encourage you to bring a friend!
